Our work indicates that our solar collector will be almost twice as efficient as either conventional photovoltaic or other CSP methods. It is the key to a novel, complete energy system that starts with sunshine and produces both heat and electricity. And because our storage will be cheap and efficient, our system will offer steady power throughout all the sunless hours of the year.
With the help of government grants and angel investors, we have good, preliminary scientific and financial modelling done on our fifth and most promising collector design, SunScoop V. It is being patented around the world; International Publication No: WO 2023/133646 A1.
We have established a critical partnership with a German company, Enolcon, expert in energy matters. They have developed the perfect storage device to fit into the system and are assisting us in our engineering work. We are about to build on our work by modelling of our collector’s performance. The results will go to Enolcon who will conduct a feasibility study of the system as a whole.
We will then begin the prototyping process and seek funds to support it. We will hire the young technical talent we need and, using our study results and strong intellectual property position, we will continue to seek and develop the partnerships necessary to bring the system to the market.
We and our partners are on the road to becoming the sole occupiers of a huge global market providing cheap baseload power from a renewable resource. A company with a groundbreaking technology that the world desperately needs is in a seller’s market, and our consortium will be the only seller.
